Every class in Oakwood gets a 45 minute Forest school session every week, for the whole school year.

Each session has same set up, with focused activities added for each class as deemed suitable.

Each session has a water area, with water trays, water pumps, a hose and lots of different containers and found materials for explorative play. This is extremely popular with all our pupils.

We also have a covered area, a hammock chair, willow tunnel, raised beds, wooden stepping stones, wild area, building equipment and a log pile for climbing, bug hunts, finding frogs and many other activities. Random materials are added to the area at different times of the year.
