Primary 4 have been learning all about their senses. What better way to explore them, than in our sensory garden?
We looked at all the different natural and man-made materials around us. We smelled the flowers and plants, we touched the different textures on the ground, we listened to the wind and bird-song as well as the sounds emanating from the outdoor musical instruments, we tasted some of our home-grown herbs and we looked at all the wonderful resources and equipment we are lucky enough to have in the garden. We then, took this inspiration and transformed it into a poem!
