Measuring the Weather 🌧️🍃🌬️

In Forest School, Primary 3 have been learning about measuring the weather!

We have explored lots of different weather instruments, such as thermometers for measuring temperature, and a barometer for measuring air pressure! 🌡️

This week, we created our own rain gauges to track the rain fall! We used a plastic bottle to collect the rain, and then created a scale up the side using a ruler! Finally, we selected the perfect place in the school garden to place them- where they wouldn’t blow over or be sheltered by the trees! ☔️
