Our session was Fire safety and developing our mathematical language. As a group we talk about the shape we need to make for our fire to go inside. As each child makes their treat we all work together to count to 10 giving all children the opportunity to develop their counting skills. Each month different children have the opportunity to participate in developing an awareness of keeping safe around a fire as we talk about our safety rules.
