8/9/25 – Exploring the Park

Today, P1 visited the park for their first Forest School session. They began by learning about the Forest School boundaries and exploring their new surroundings. As a fun warm-up, the children used a parachute and took turns running underneath while sharing something they could see, hear or touch in the park.

The children then explored the area, looking closely at the natural environment and collecting interesting objects they discovered along the way. They enjoyed investigating different colours, shapes and textures and sharing their finds with others.

To finish the session, everyone gathered together to discuss what they had discovered and share their favourite things about their first Forest School adventure.
