6th February Bird Feeders

This was another very wet and cold day and time outside was limited. Our topic is Our School and we wanted to investigate how our school take care of the environment. The children came up with ideas and we took photographs in these areas – polytunnel, orchard, bird information signs. The children then looked for bird feeders in trees and could not find any! We then used resources available to make their own bird feeders with a slice of wood, lard and seeds. We hung some on trees outside our classroom and each child made one to take home.
