Making Stickman – World Book Day

The children had been focusing on the book ‘Stickman’. The children searched the school grounds for the appropriate sticks to make him. They discussed length, size, shape and colour of sticks. The children had a go at using saws and discussed how to use the saw safely. The children had to attach their sticks together using string. They had to think of the best way to do this.
