30 April 2026 Minibeast Art with natural resources
In forest school, we created minibeast art using a variety of natural resources we found around us. We carefully collected items such as leaves, twigs, petals, bark, and small stones to design insects like butterflies, beetles, and spiders. The children used their imagination to arrange the materials into different shapes, experimenting with patterns, colours, and textures to make their minibeasts look realistic or unique. This activity encouraged creativity, teamwork, and a deeper appreciation for the natural environment, as we made sure to respect nature while gathering our materials. By the end, we had a wonderful collection of natural artwork that celebrated the tiny creatures found in the forest.
