Love Hoglet lesson
Started session hiding the squirrel puppet in a team of 3 then the rest searched for the puppet. Opened conversations about hedgehogs, baby hedgehogs called?
Then started craft, range of coloured aur dring clay , children pick a colour then mould it onto the front of the pinecone for its head, google eyes+ ears nose and some had their own ideas. Top hats and tails. Wooden hearts then decorated to give as present.
Children praised each other’s creations and named their creatures. Photographs taken and all children loved activity, when asked at end.
