Primary 2 – Blue Class – Scavenger Hunt

Today during Forest School the children explored the learning garden using their senses to find materials that were smooth, rough, hard, and soft. After our sensory hunt, we gathered in the reflection circle to enjoy the story Superworm, with everyone joining in brilliantly with the repeated verse.

Inspired by the story, the children got busy with a range of activities. They used sticks and pipe cleaners to create their own Superworms, went worm hunting in the soil, and made mini‑beast drawings based on what they discovered outdoors. The children showed wonderful curiosity, care for nature, and growing confidence in exploring the outdoor environment.
