29/01/25 – Storm Damage

Following Storm Eowyn, there was a lot of damage to our school grounds. After a safety check, we went outside to walk around the school grounds to see what damage had been caused. This led to discussions about tree ages as we could see trees which had blown down, root systems and how trees support each other and different types of trees. We also took the opportunity to link Numeracy with our outdoor learning and spotted 3D shapes around our school.
