26 October 2023 – Winter Trail

Pupils walk from the school and gather at the starting point with their leaders and assistants at Sensory Garden
Pupils are briefed about the activity and reminded of safety precautions and boundaries
Pupils will work in groups or independently but always under adult supervision.
Pupils will practice their letter sounds together before they start the treasure hunt.
Pupils will be assigned to an adult with an iPad and when items have been found they ask the adult to
either give them the iPad to take a photo or to help them take a photo.
Pupils are encouraged to touch, smell and discuss what they have found, if an adult says it is safe to do so.
Pupils return to the starting point when they hear the whistle sound.
A discussion will happen about what each group or individual child has found.
