The children began by gathering natural materials such as twigs, stones, and leaves. They then learned how to use these items to set up and play a game of tic-tac-toe, working with a partner and practising important skills like turn-taking and fair play. Afterwards, we explored the concept of how water changes. Each child was given a container and invited to collect natural items to place inside. We then added water and left the containers outside, ready to observe how the water would freeze and transform into ice overnight.
