This session was based upon the term camouflage. To begin, we discussed what this word meant then we played birds and worms, which the children loved. They showed they really understood the term. Next, we talked about why animals like to stay camouflaged and the importance of doing this. Then for our main activity we made a camouflage bird’s nest only using materials on our forest school ground, which were fantastic!
