20 November 2025 – Number Grids

This week in Forest School, our Primary 3 took their maths learning outdoors with a hands-on “Number Grid” activity.

We used bamboo canes to build a grid, then picked a number for each section. We collected the correct number of natural materials, like pinecones, leaves, sticks and apples and put them in the box. Then, they practiced counting, adding, and problem-solving— totalling the numbers up at the end of each column and row!

From building grids to calculating totals, the children showed fantastic teamwork and creativity. 🍃✨
