Camouflage Activity:
– Children discussed how animals on the boundaries would camouflage themselves
– Children discussed any other animals they knew that would camouflage themselves and how
– Children were split into two groups: bird and worms (worms were given green string in this round)
– Worms had to go and hide their worms, then birds went to try and find them
– Groups were swapped over and this time, worms were given red string
– Birds had to go again and find the red string
– Children had to search hard on both occasions but discussion afterwards on which colour was easier to find and why
