Making birdseed balls :-
Child asked about putting bird in the bird feeder, mixing suet with birdseed:-
Physical:- Children developing fine motor skills, mixing with spoons developing upper and lower arm strength, developing cross lateral movement.
Language and communications:- Discussing what we are doing, how it feels, and what the birds like to eat.
Personal Social and emotional:- Independently creating their own bird fat balls, creating a sense of responsibility.
Exploring and thinking:- showing care for wildlife, helping the birds, noticing the different kinds of birds, learning cause and effect, changing two ingredients to create something completely new.
