After school club- squirrel game+ litter picking. Started activity with hide the squirrel puppet. Worked in teams ciders then the seekers. Opened conversations of camouflage for animals/insects. Then each child had their own litter picker but worked in teams to walk around school grounds and field. Opened conversation on why it’s important to leave no trace. We contacted the local council, who let us borrow the litterpickers and bags.
At end of activity the consensus was thumbs up for the lesson.
