17th June 2026 – Fire Lighting and S’mores

There was great excitement at Denamona Den today as P6/7 lit their first Forest School fire.

We learnt about the fire triangle and importantly how to stay safe around fire, especially the importance of extinguishing the fire when finished! We also discussed our value of resilience when using the flint to get the fire started.

It was all worth it and the s’mores were enjoyed by everyone!
