Welcomed group to Knockmany Forest for their Forest School session.
Started of with a talk about trees and how they grow from a seed. We identified the parts of a tree. This led to a discussion on what animals live in a tree.
The group were shown a selection of birds nests and wasp nests.
The children were then tasked to make tree pictures using items found on the ground. When finished they were given the opportunity to talk about their pictures.
To finish up we made a den together as a group.
