17/4/26 – Woodland Wand

P2 went for a nature walk around the park today. They began by finding a long stick in the Forest. Then as they walked they collect Spring items for their woodland wand and added them on using a pipe cleaner. Pupils had to be selective about what the chose as the wand could only hold so much. At the end pupils explained why they had chosen those items for their wand and we discussed where they had found them. Lots of great directional talk about the park. We then wrote a story using our wands in our creative writing books when we got back to school.
