We made bird feeders using oranges and bird seed. We cut the orange in half and scooped out the centre. We rolled some vegetable fat into a ball and rolled it in a bowl of bird seed. We put the ball of bird seed into the orange and topped up with more bird seed. We pushed 2 bamboo skewers into the orange in the shape of a cross so that the bird could sit on them. We attached string and hung the bird feeders on trees in our school garden.
