16 June 2025 – Art Attack (Forest School Club)

This is part of a four-week Forest School club.

This lesson aimed to recreate images using natural resources. Having been shown a plane, bus and country scene, the children were divided into mixed-ability teams of different age groups.
We began the session with a warm-up game of ‘Time Bomb’ where children explored the forest and after a timer finished, they had to be off the forest floor. Following this game, we progressed onto our main activity where children worked together within their teams to create their pictures. Following the creation of the pictures, each group took it in turn to discuss their artwork and explain to the group why they used specific resources for their creations.
