Today P3 had to follow an image to create a pattern / shape using sticks. They had to de-bug their ‘algorithm’ to ensure that all sticks were in the correct place and it could be identified by the next group. When they had gotten the algorithm correct pupils had to pick up their sticks and pass the image onto the next group to complete. When we returned back to class we investigate the algorithms using the images children had taken on the iPads. We discussed what made them successful and wh follow the instructions carefully was so important.
