15/12/25 – Jolly Postman

Today, P1 enjoyed a Jolly Postman themed Forest School session. The children began by gathering around the base area to listen to The Jolly Postman and talked about the letters he delivered to different characters.

The children then became little postmen themselves and explored the outdoor area to deliver letters to the correct Numicon postboxes. They matched the numbers carefully, finding number bonds that made a total of 10.

To finish the session, the children gathered back at the base area to share the number bonds they had found and celebrate successfully delivering all the post!
