After school lesson- hibernation
Opened conversations on nocturnal animals and their habitat. Brought tarpaulins/bamboo/tent clips to field.
Played game of floor is lava with tarpaulins. Children in small groups created shelters for their chosen animal. Also choice of making kites with bags or paper aeroplanes, to ensure all children have a choice and are happy.
Once all shelters were created, each group excitedly showed their creation.
Children ensured leave no trace, thumbs up for lesson.
