14 April 2025 Easter Gardens

P1 and P2
We have been learning all about the Easter Story. Today we worked together to make a beautiful Easter Garden. We collected sticks and put them together with elastic bands to make the crosses. We made an empty tomb using a flowerpot and a large stone. We planted purple flowers to show new life because at Easter we remember that Jesus is alive. Purple reminds us that Jesus is the king! We used things we could find around the Thomas Trail to decorate our gardens and make them look really pretty.

P6 and P7
P6/7 created Easter gardens in the trail to represent the story of the first Easter. They had to consider making the cross, the tomb, the large stone, something to represent new life and the event leading up to and after Easter.
