13 May 2025 – P3 Nature Hunt

This class had already been introduced to the Forest School and the rules in a session with Pam, myself and Mr Shannon. When we arrived at the Forest School, we recapped the rules and refreshed ourselves on the rules of the whistle. The main activity was a nature hunt. Children were provided with a nature hunt activity page in a clipboard and an iPad. In pairs, we moved around the Forest School together. Children located the items on the sheet, ticked them off and then took photos. At the end of the session, the pairs used ICT to create a collage of their items and showed it to their peers.
