Today was a new group of children. Who were all super excited to go as they knew how much fun the other group of children were having at forest school. They first started of looking for things of interest in the wildlife garden. Some children found daffodils, bird houses, frog spawn and buds on the trees. We had a little discussion about it now being Spring. They also noticed empty pipe cleaners that another group used as bird feeders and they took it on themselves to collect all the pipe cleaners up. We then took it turns to play follow the leader. They also wanted to play hide and seek afterwards. Then the children went and discovered the wildlife garden. Some of the children started climbing trees. One particular child spent the rest of her time up in a tree. A few other children carried on playing hide and seek. whilst another child went around lifting up the biggest branch they could find.
