Muddy Mondays Numeracy
Number Counting in 2’s
Working as a whole class, children collect 2 of given objects, e.g. 2 sticks, 2 conkers, 2 stones. Children lay them out in a ‘ladder’ and write corresponding numeral beside. Practise jumping and skip counting in 2’s.
Working in pairs, children make their own ladder, label and practise jumping and counting.
