Apple trees –

We have 2 Apple trees in our Forest school site, and throughout September they became a focus for many of our pupils. Children who never eat apples were picking apples off the tree and eating them. They apples were used in imaginative play, in a delivery lorry and a bakery, they were buried in mud and leaves, washed, stacked up, sorted by size, and one pupil raced apples down the water wall. Some pupils cut their apples open and planted the seeds to grow more apple trees, so we will have even more apples next year.
