Nature Rangers Week 1- P.5, 6 and 7.

This week the children were learning about the rules and routines of the Nature Ranger sessions. They discussed boundaries and the ways in which to use equipment properly when in the Forest School area. They recapped on prior experience- such as their favourite experiences of Forest School and together we outlined the structure of future sessions.
They then got into groups and played the camouflage games where one member of the group- The Badger has 2 minutes to hide themselves from view.
The children then choose an animal and each group builds a shelter for their chosen animal.
At the end each group meets around the campfire and the elements of fire safety were discussed.
Tasty s’mores were made.
