8th May 2025 Cloud spotting

The children had a great time getting creative by making their own binoculars using cardboard tubes, string, paper, and cotton wool. We then read ‘Little Cloud’ by Eric Carle, which inspired us to head outdoors for some cloud spotting. Using their handmade binoculars, the children looked up at the sky to find different shapes in the clouds, using their imaginations to describe what they saw. We talked about staying safe in the sun and keeping our eyes safe. We also enjoyed playing parachute games, working together as a team and having lots of fun in the fresh air.
