This week, we introduced the children to the season of autumn by exploring the changing colours in the trees and surrounding landscape. The children enjoyed collecting autumn leaves and using them in a fun parachute activity, tossing them into the air and watching them fall. Working in pairs, they also took part in an autumn colour scavenger hunt, searching for natural items in a variety of seasonal shades. We discussed colour variations such as light and dark, and the children enthusiastically shared their findings with the group.
