5/10/25 – Nature Patterns
Today P2 took their new Numeracy skill of making patterns and tested it out in the outdoors. We began by recapping what a pattern was and discussing what patterns we can see in everyday nature. Then children went off to gather resources to make their own pattern. Learners were challenged to make AB, ABC and ABCD patterns using outdoor materials. We then did a tour to showcase individual pupils work at the end of the session during our plenary. The pupils loved the hands-on numeracy and it really helped to bring their learning to life!
