29/4/26 – Nature Sketching

Children ventured out into our school grounds and our Eco Garden to investigate signs of spring. We talked about the changes we had seen on our last trip to the park and what we could see now. Children were tasked to scavenge the area and take photos of signs of spring. They then stopped to draw a still life image of an element of nature sketching with a pencil and adding in shadows/ texture. Children had a great discussion about their chosen element and why they had selected this at the end.
