Everyone was excited to get outside into the glorious weather today for another Forest School session. In class, we have been learning about the signs of Autumn and have recently had an ICT lesson, involving creating autumn trees. To extend learning, today’s activity was to work in small groups to create an autumn tree within a bamboo frame, using natural resources such as conkers, conker cases, pine cones and giant leaves. Once the groups had completed their artwork, we took time to admire each group’s handiwork. We then enjoyed some free playtime before leaving no trace at the end of the session.
