23/9/25 – Texture/Colour Hunting

P2 explored the different colous and textures of Autumn at our Forest School site. As this was the first lesson of the year they began by re-famliarising themselves with the area, exploring the boundaries and landscape. We also went over the Forest School rules. As an introduction they took turns to guide each other around the site (as cars) describing their surroundings and providing direction to their partner. They then used their checklist to hunt for Autumn themed items with a range of textures and colours. To finish we explored which items were the easiest / hardest to find and discussed if we thought this would be the same in other seasons.
