23/9/25 – P2 Texture Hunting

P2 went on a texture / colour hunt to explore the beginning of Autumn. Children had a tick list of items to search for and discussed how these looked/ felt. This was a great opportunity for them to explore the Forest School site and familiarise themselves with the Forest School rules again. Children travelled around the boundaries of our site as part of the introduction where they had to describe the area to their partner and guide them around the obstacles. At the end we discussed the different items they had found and if they though these things would be common in other seasons.
