Bush Primary School / Windmill Primary School
P1 — 55 children
Welcomed group to Dungannon Park for their Forest School session.
We split the group into 2. With both groups split evenly between the 2 schools.
Started of with a talk about trees and how they grow from a seed. We identified the parts of a tree. This led to a discussion on what animals live in a tree.
The group were shown a selection of birds nests and wasp nests.
We then made Pictures of trees on the ground.
The students had great fun learning about trees and animal habitats. The Primary 1 boys and girls got the opportunity to showcase their imaginative talents and creative skills through the popular tree art and den building activities.
