Making clay hedgehogs, using clay and natural resources like sticks and leaves and some googly eyes.
Learning opportunity:-
Physical:- developing fine motor skills manipulating the sticks into the clay to make their own creation.
Language and communication:- discussing what a hedgehog looks like, where they live, nocturnal and what it means, describing what they were doing.
Personal, Social. Emotional:- independently choosing materials to create their own masterpiece, feeling of achievement.
Exploring and thinking :- caring for living things, learning about nature, selecting materials that work to make the hedgehog.
