Primary 2 – Yellow Class – Forest February Lesson 2

🌿 Fun in the Forest February! 🌿

Today we had a brilliant time making our own bird feeders to help look after the wildlife in our school grounds! 🐦💚

The children created Cheerio feeders by threading hoops onto pipe cleaners 🧵✨ and also made lard-and-seed balls to hang in the trees 🌳. We talked about how birds find it harder to get food in winter and how we can help them stay strong and healthy. ❄️💛

Everyone showed fantastic teamwork, concentration and care while getting (beautifully!) messy with the lard mixture 🤭🧈🌻.

We can’t wait to check back and see which birds come to visit our tasty treats! 👀🐦🥰

What a lovely way to end another fun Forest School session! 🌲❤️
