The children were split into mixed ability groups and tasked with using their senses to find different items around our school garden. This lessons was linked to our current thematic of ‘Hey! Hey! Look at me!’ where we had recently been discussing our senses and why/how we use them. We discussed the importance of ‘leave no trace’ and the children drew pictures of their items instead of picking anything.
