16/6/26 – Secret Garden

P2 ventured down to our Outdoor Learning Area today to bring to life some of the class stories they have been reading. We began by selecting a spot for out ‘Gardens’ talking about where the sunlight goes during the day and what kind of plants/ ground we might want to have. We then used characters from our small world area in school and resources we had gathered to bring our gardens to life. We had great fun moving around the stations and coming up with stories / fairytales to go with everyone’s gardens. Lots of great imagination used.
