St Johns Primary School
Moy
KS1 30 Children
Primary One enjoyed their very first school trip to Dungannon Park as part of the Forest Schools Project. They had a fantastic time exploring the outdoors and learning about trees and animals during the season of autumn.
They were shown and had hands on our collection of Birds nests. We then discussed how they’re made. With this knowledge they then had the opportunity to make their own nests on the ground using natural materials.
Their second task was to make pictures of monsters. They were given two conkers each (painted as eyes) to start their pictures.
