14 October 2025 – Introduction to Forest School (2025/26 P5 Class)

This is a recap of a lesson I used last year to introduce my Primary 5 class to Forest School. The Forest School introduction began with a tour of our Forest School grounds. We followed this up by recapping the Forest School rules, set up our boundary poles and then had a practice of the rules when using the whistle. The final part of the activity was dividing the class into pairs. I held up flash cards of natural resources and the pairs then explored the forest environment to locate the items displayed and return them to me as quickly as possible.
