Today we enjoyed a nature scavenger hunt as our main activity at Forest School. Once reinforcing the importance of our boundary flags and recapping our Forest School rules, the children searched around our site to find the items listed on their sheets, marking them off when found. After the hunt, the children enjoyed telling each other about the things they had spotted. During our free play session, some children chose to continue hunting, searching under rocks and logs for minibeasts. Others chose to dig or to create concoctions at our mud kitchens. The children ensured they left no trace before returning to school.
