10/9/25 – Journey Stick

P3 went on a walk today to explore the change of season. They began by recapping our Forest School rules and talked about the different areas in the park that we could explore. Some great directional chat was had. The children then went off to find a suitable stick. When we returned we began our journey around the park. Children had to lift memorable things from each area to mark specific points on their journey. At the end of the session children talked through their journey stick – where had they found the items and why had they chosen them.
