Today we welcomed St Mary’s to Dungannon Park for their second visit.
After our introduction and a review of our rules we took the class into the forest.
Todays activities are Building Shelters and Team Tasks (games).
The class showed great teamwork and imagination with their shelters. Some great designs!
We then gave them a team challenge, to get water from one bucket to another 20m away using 2 open ended tubes.
Finally we ended with Walking the Plank Challenge. This involved 2 children standing on 2 planks and by working together, walking 15 m and back then changing over to the next 2 in their team.
There was a huge amount of enthusiasm with lots of noisy cheering.
