This is the only NI Forest School qualification and was developed by NIFSA in partnership with the Open College Network NI. This is the lead qualification teachers etc. would be expected to have before starting a Forest School programme. NIFSA have been training and accrediting teachers and other educational experts since 2008. There are now hundreds of Forest School Leaders and official NIFSA Forest Schools making up the NI Forest School Community.
